Coaching and Mentoring Skills for Managers Programme - CMI Level 5

by In Professional Development

Coaching and mentoring skills provide managers with the tools to support the development of confident, skilled, and high-performing individuals and teams, as well as the ability to effectively manage challenging situations and conversations.

Focus is moved away from the traditional management styles of a rigid structure controlling and tasking others to working with your teams to apply their potential, engaging effectively, communicating clearly, and supporting people in achieving much more, honouring the values of management that are important to you.

By integrating a coaching approach, managers and leaders can empower employees and promote effective communication and constructive relationships, contributing to effective working and organisational cultures. Coaching tools also enable managers to support reflective learning and development, creating more confident, autonomous, and insightful team members.

This is a highly experiential programme involving theory, practice and demonstration, a chance to try powerful techniques in a safe space to understand the true abilities of others.
