Authentic Leadership in Times of Change and Uncertainty is a communication-focused course that builds the skills leaders need to guide teams through organizational transitions with confidence and integrity. Participants explore strategies for transparent communication during uncertainty, resistance management through empathy and active listening, facilitation of difficult conversations, and psychological safety practices. The course covers stakeholder engagement, inclusive communication, and trust-building across diverse organizational contexts. Learning outcomes:

  • Explain the psychological and emotional dimensions of change and the role of communication in successful transitions
  • Identify resistance patterns, stakeholder concerns, and communication barriers that emerge during organizational change
  • Apply active listening, empathy, and transparent communication to build trust and reduce uncertainty
  • Facilitate psychologically safe, inclusive dialogue through emotionally intelligent communication practices
  • Adapt communication strategies to diverse stakeholders, situations, and organizational cultures

Earning Criteria

  • Engagement: 70% of each module’s learning path is completed 
  • Progress: 50% of units have a pass score
  • Assessed Progress: A final test score of 70% or above
